Welcome to Rentridge (“we”, “us”, “our”), a digital platform that connects property owners (“Owners”) with individuals seeking to rent properties (“Renters”). By accessing or using our website at www.rentridge.in (the “Website”), mobile application, or related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using our Services.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Rentridge platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account, browsing, posting listings, or using any feature of the Rentridge platform, you confirm that:

* You are at least 18 years of age;
* You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
* You accept and agree to be legally bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies published on the Website.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Services

Rentridge operates as an online marketplace that enables:

* Owners to list available residential or commercial properties for rent;
* Renters to search, view, and contact Owners about rental opportunities.

Rentridge does not:

* Own, manage, or control any listed properties;
* Act as a landlord, tenant, real estate broker, or agent;
* Guarantee the accuracy, legality, or availability of listings;
* Screen users, verify identities, or conduct background checks (unless explicitly stated);
* Participate in negotiations, lease agreements, or payment transactions between parties.

All agreements, including rental contracts and payments, are entered into directly between Owners and Renters. Rentridge is not a party to those agreements.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, users must create an account. You agree to:

* Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration;
* Maintain the security of your account credentials;
* Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach;
* Be responsible for all activities conducted under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or suspicious activity.

4. Listings and Content

4.1 Property Listings

Owners are solely responsible for the content of their listings, including:

* Accuracy of property details (size, amenities, rent, availability, etc.);
* Compliance with applicable housing, zoning, and anti-discrimination laws;
* Disclosure of known defects or restrictions.

Rentridge is not liable for false, misleading, or incomplete information in listings.

4.2 Prohibited Listings

You may not list properties that:

* Are illegal or violate local rental laws;
* Promote discrimination based on race, religion, gender, disability, or other protected classes;
* Are used for unlawful purposes (e.g., illegal activities, short-term rentals where prohibited).

4.3 Intellectual Property

By posting a listing, you grant Rentridge a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating the platform.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

* Use the platform for any unlawful purpose;
* Harass, threaten, or defraud other users;
* Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
* Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Website without permission;
* Impersonate another person or entity;
* Use automated systems (bots) to interact with the platform;
* Interfere with the security or performance of the Services.

6. Communication Between Users

Rentridge may facilitate messaging between Owners and Renters. All communications must be respectful and related to rental inquiries. We are not responsible for the content or outcome of user interactions.
We encourage users to report inappropriate behavior through our reporting tools. We may investigate and take action, including account suspension or removal of content.

7. Transactions and Payments

Rentridge may offer tools to facilitate payments (e.g., rent collection, security deposits), but:

* Payment processing is handled by third-party providers;
* We do not hold or manage funds unless explicitly stated;
* Renters and Owners are responsible for agreeing on payment terms directly.

Any financial disputes must be resolved between the involved parties. Rentridge is not liable for non-payment, fraud, or transaction errors.

8. Background Checks and Verification (Optional)

If Rentridge offers optional identity verification or background screening services:

* These are provided for informational purposes only;
* We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of reports;
* Use of such services is subject to additional terms and user consent.

9. Fees and Subscriptions

Rentridge may charge fees for certain services, such as:

* Featured listings;
* Subscription plans for Owners;
* Premium tools for Renters.

All fees will be clearly disclosed before purchase. Refund policies (if any) will be specified at the time of purchase.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

* THE WEBSITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE;
* LISTINGS ARE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE;
* ANY PROPERTY WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR RENT;
* USER CONTENT WILL BE SECURE OR PRIVATE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RENTRIDGE AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

* LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITY;
* FRAUDULENT RENTAL SCHEMES;
* PROPERTY DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE LAST SIX MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rentridge, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

* Your use of the Services;
* Your breach of these Terms;
* Your violation of any law or third-party rights;
* Your listing or rental activity on the platform.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and without liability. You may deactivate your account at any time through your account settings.
Upon termination, all licenses granted to you under these Terms will cease.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
